Peanut Sauce Recipe In Words
Prep time:
Cook time:
Total time:
Yield: 1 bowl of Peanut Sauce
Ingredients:
- 4 Tbsp Peanuts
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 2 Cups Water
- 4 Dry Red Chilies
- 3 Buds Garlic
- 1 Tsp Sugar
- 3 Tsp Sesame Seeds (Til)
Method:
We will start with roasting the Peanuts in a non-stick pan on low flame (as shown). Roast until peanuts turn light golden brown in color. Once done, switch off the stove.
Now add the roasted Peanuts, Salt, Sugar, dry Red Chilies, Sesame Seeds and Garlic in a grinder jar. Grind them well to make a powder.
Take out the Peanuts powder mixture in a bowl.
We need to make simple sugar syrup now. Take a pan and add water. Heat it on medium flame. Once, water is hot (no need to boil), add sugar and stir. The idea is to let the sugar melt, so a normal hot water would work here.
Keep the stove on low flame. Add the Peanut mixture powder in sugar syrup. Mix well.
Keep the stove on low flame only and keep on string it to avoid burning of sauce.
Cook it for about 2 minutes and then switch off the stove. Your Peanut sauce is ready to serve with any of your favorite dish. Enjoy!!! |
