Preparation Time:

  1. Chop onions and green chilies very finely in a bowl.
  2. Add Red chili powder, Amchoor, Garam Masala, hing, Coriander Powder, Chopped Coriander Leaves, Ajwain/Cumin Seeds, chopped Green Chilies and salt. Mix well.
  3. Prepare dough of wheat flour. Mix water and make smooth dough.
  4. Make medium size chapati with the help of dry wheat flour (powder).
  5. Keep the onion mixture in the middle of chapati, Wrap and close the chapati from all the sides.
  6. Now again roll it and make chapati/ parantha.
  7. Cook on a pre-heated Tawa (flat griddle plate). Turn it and spread 1 tsp of oil or butter.
  8. Shallow fry over medium flame. Turn it and again spread oil or butter on the other side.
  9. Cook on a medium flame till it become golden brown in color from both the sides.
  10. Serve hot with yoghurt (curd) and your choice of chutney/sauce.

  3. Salt - To Taste
  4. Water - To Make Dough
  5. Red Chili Powder - 1/2 Tsp
  6. Garam Masala - ¼ Tsp
  7. Mango Powder (Amchoor) - ½ Tsp
  8. Chopped Coriander Leaves - ½ Tbsp
  9. Asafoetida (Hing) - Pinch
  10. Carom Seeds (Ajwain)/Cumin Seeds - Pinch
  11. Green Chilies (Chopped) - 1
  12. Oil - To Cook
