Preparation Time:

  1. Soak dal and rice at night in water.
  2. Sieve and grind the them in a mixer with very little water (try not to add more than 2-3 tsp of water). Make rough paste.
  3. Now take the dal & rice paste in a bowl. Add salt, red chili powder, amchoor, garam masala, baking soda, chopped green chilies and tomato. Mix well.
  4. Beat the mixture for about 5 mintues.
  5. Heat griddle and spread 1/2 Tsp of oil and 1 Tbsp oof prepared mixture. Make a small round shape chilla.
  6. Once it is half cooked, flip it and spread 1/2 tsp of oil all around the chilla.
  7. Let it cook till it become golden brown from both the sides on medium flame.
  8. Repeat the same with the remaining mixture and make small size Chillas.
  9. Serve hot with green Coriander chutney and tomato sauce. Enjoy!!!

  2. Green Moong Lentil - 1/2 Cup
  3. Salt - To Taste
  4. Red Chili Powder - 1/2 Tsp
  5. Green Chili - 1
  6. Mango Powder (Amchoor) - 1/4 Tsp
  7. Garam Masala - Pinch
  8. Oil - For Frying
  9. Baking Soda - 2 Pinches
  10. Tomato - 1
