Spicy & Crispy Pakoras for evening/ morning tea. They are perfect for prople who like to eat cripsy & spicy thing.

Preparation Time:
15 Min .
  1. Soak dal at night in water.
  2. Sieve and grind the dal in a mixer with very little water (try not to add more than 2-3 tsp of water). Make rough paste of dal.
  3. Now take the dal paste in a bowl. Add salt, red chili powder, amchoor, garam masala, chopped green chilies and baking soda. Mix well.
  4. Beat the mixture for about 5 mintues.
  5. Heat oil in a pan to fry dal pakoras.
  6. Now take small amount of the dal paste in a teaspoon and pour it lightly in the hot oil to deep fry.
  7. Repeat the same with the remaining paste of dal and make small size pakoras.
  8. Fry till they become golden brown in color and crispy on low flame.
  9. Serve hot with green Coriander chutney and tomato sauce. Enjoy!!!
  10. Note: You can make dal & rice pakoras by soaking 1/2 cup dal & 1/2 Cup rice also at night, prepare with the same method.
  1. Green Moong Lentil - 1 Cup
  2. Salt - To Taste
  3. Red Chili Powder - 1/2 Tsp
  4. Green Chili - 1
  5. Mango Powder (Amchoor) - 1/4 Tsp
  6. Garam Masala - Pinch
  7. Oil - For Cooking
  8. Baking Soda - 2 Pinches

Hi Satya, 3-4Tsp of curd in only 1 Tsp of chutney or as per your taste.

My husband too loves the green chutney which we get in restaurants.
Here is the recipe for green mint chutney: Mint chutney.
Once you are done, just add 3-4 teaspoon of curd/dahi in this chutney to make it taste like the one you get in restaurants!! Let me know if you need more help :)

Hi Maahi, will surely try out this one!! Could you please give me recipe for green chutney, the one we get in hotels with tandoori food !! I badly want to eat these pakoras with that chutney! :)
