Take one bowl of suji and mix curd, Eno, salt to taste and fry mustard seeds in 3tsp of oil and put it in the idli mixture and mix it with water to make it a smooth paste. Now add coriander leaves chopped.

Now grease the idli stand and put the mixture in it.

Take big cooker and put it on high flame with 1 ½ glass of water now put the idli stand in it and shut it with the cooker lid without weight (whistle), do not close the lid tight.

Check after 15min with knife and take it out if cooked or if not cooked let it cook for another 5min.

Note: this preparation is for stand of 12 idli’s.

Chilly Cabbage Idli prepration:

Chop the big cabbage with very thin layers as much as possible and cut long strips of it, cut long strips of green chilies also.

Now take a pan and put 1tbsp of oil and fry mustard seeds.
|
|
Add onion, cabbage and green chilies to fry in it for about 5min.
|
|
Add salt and black pepper mix well and switch off the gas.
|
|
Now add chopped coriander leaves.
|
|
Cut the idli’s in two pieces and put the idli in the cabbage mixture and mix it well.

|
Serve hot with green chutney and tomato sauce.
