Stiff Chocolate Icing (To Ice a cake)
Recipe Rating

As per cake size.
Preparation Time:
30 Min .
  1. Take a small pan & boil 2 cups of water in it. Choose another pan larger than the first pan. To prepare icing, place this pan over and above the smaller pan. (Double boiler can also be used here).
  2. Break chocolate at room temp, softened into smaller pieces in the bigger pan, which is empty and is kept over smaller pan. This way the heat formed in the smaller pan will help the chocolate in larger to melt.
  3. Add 2 tbsp hot water to chocolate pieces & stir (on the double boiler only). When the chocolate has melted, add icing sugar & butter. Mix well. Ice the cake immediately with prepared icing.
  1. Chocolate (Cooking) - 125gm
  2. OR -
  3. Chocolate Amul or Nestle Rich dark at room temp. - 3Slabs (40 gm each)
  4. Hot Water - 2 Tbsp
  5. Icing Sugar (Sieved) - 150 gm.
  6. Heaped Butter - 1 Tbsp (20gm)
